553447 - Firefox 3.6 crashes on startup, attempting restart does not work

I installed firefox 3.6. After installation it creashed on startup, I reported the crash with the checkbox and clicked restart firefox. It kept crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled from your website. It ran once and then kept crashing on restart.  I have never had this problem with Firefox.  I reinstalled ver 3.5.6 and it runs fine, and I am writing this report from that version.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Intstall 3.6
2. Start
3. it crashes
4. restart. etc.

try safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode it will disable your addons temporarly to ensure they are not culprit.
also ensure you have latest version of you plug-ins: http://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/

you should take some crash report links from about:reports page and paste them here. check http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox+crashes and http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Mozilla+Crash+Reporter

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
