Unchecking "my installed add-ons" will not hide the installed addon from the page
Unchecking the "My installed add-ons" box and researching, will still display your installed addons. See screenshot Repro: 1) install addons branch build: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.3a3pre) Gecko/20100318 Minefield/3.7a3pre 2) open addons manager 3) install addon and restart (eg. Adblock plus) 4) Search in addons manager for adblock 5) uncheck the "My installed add-ons" box 6) Verify search still returns addons you've previously installed despite the box unchecked. Expected: - none of your installed addons should be shown on search Actual: - Addons shown.
Since it doesn't make sense to not search locally (when only local search is implemented), I've disabled that checkbox. They'll both be enabled once AMO searching is implemented (so no need to do testing on this yet). And by "local search" I mean searching installed addons. http://hg.mozilla.org/projects/addonsmgr/rev/aa1f3589467d
