Each time I start Mozilla Firefox, the Java Quick Starter 1.0 is re-installed and the Add-On screen appears to tell me so. With every other Add-On, they install and that stands, so there must be a bug in the Java Quick Starter module.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Browser
2. Problem Occurs
3. Repeat as necessary; will happen every time.
Actual Results:
Simply launch the browser. This has happened each time since I first downloaded and installed the browser.

Expected Results:
After re-installing Java Quick Starter 1.0, everything functions as normal.

Installed Java Quick Starter 1.0 once when the browser was first installed and used, and never have to install it again unless I uninstall it myself.

jqs activation sounds quirky.
Do you see this with version 3.6 or 4.0 beta?
How can the fault could be with firefox?

Can you give a screenshot of the dialog that is asking you to install the add-on on startup?
Are you able to replicate this issue with Firefox 3.6 of 4.0 beta?
