Instead of having to dbl. click on the e-mails in the search window I would
love it if you could make it so the layout is like TB itself. Meaning I can
read the e-mail in the search window & not have to dbl. click on tons of
e-mails to find the information within the e-mail.

Michelle, if I get you right, you're talking about adding a msg preview pane to the "Search messages" dialogue (Ctrl+Shift+F). No doubt the workflow here is awful, and it should be fixed, because "Search messages" is the only high-precision search that TB offers. The request is out in the wild since 2004 and is withering away in bug 258371: For some obscure reason, this hasn't been addressed yet. I suggest you add your vote to bug 258371 (using vote link), but the bigger problem is to find someone who is willing to add the preview pane. Although experts on that bug say it's easy for a basic version (draft patch exists), which I believe would make many of us happy.

Well that was just a suggestion, I am sure there are other ways to accomplish that, I just can't think of any :  )
