Through the wonders of hg merging, I ended up with a message before any direction specifier. The error received was: /home/dougt/builds/e10s/electrolysis/dom/ipc/PContentProcess.ipdl:0:error: missing message direction

Don't have the infrastructure for checking the content of error messages, but with this patch applied I get /home/cjones/mozilla/mozilla-central/ipc/ipdl/test/ipdl/error/messageNoDirection.ipdl:2: error: missing message direction rather than "messageNoDirection.ipdl:0".
