Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Build ID: 20100227143138 Some changes made to the columns displayed in the message-pane are discarded when this folder is active at startup. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change the columns to be displayed for a folder. Stay in that folder 2. Restart Thunderbird or Close and start Thunderbird 3. Actual Results: Some changes will be there, others will be discarded. For example it seems to be impossible to make some columns invisible or change the positioning of some columns. Expected Results: All the changes should be persistent It seems that the "stubborn" columns are different for different profiles but the overall problem of discarding changes to the startup folder is occurring in all tested profiles on Windows XP. On one Windows 7-PC the problem doesn't occur.
Version: unspecified → 3.0
I've tried changing and deleting the folders .mfs-file while Thunderbird is closed, but the problem is unaffected by any changes made in/to the file.
Katharina could be a dupe of bug #516145 ?
Might be a dupe of bug #516145, but as there is no mention of the condition that the folder has to be active at startup, I rather think this is a different problem. All my other folders detain any changes to the columns I made, as long as there're not open on startup.
(In reply to comment #3) > All my other folders detain any changes to the columns I made, as long as > there're not open on startup. That what's missing in bug 516145 let's add it there and keep one bug.
