554293 - Recently created user can't submit a project

Trying to create a new project
on the drumbeat system. Basically a recently created user can't submit a
project because after hitting "save" a page with the following error is
displayed:

"/Project Initiator/: invalid user."

Steps to reproduce:

1- create a new user
2- go to https://www.drumbeat.org/projects click on the get started
<https://www.drumbeat.org/node/add/project> link
3- fill the form and hit save

Expected results:

Your project gets created.

Actual results:

You return to https://www.drumbeat.org/node/add/project with an error
message saying that the project initiator is an invalid user.


I am making this bug report via email because it is currently not very
clear what the best channel for feedback is right now. If wiki, bugzilla
or something else :)
