55440 - Middle mouse button paste text vs. open new window in image maps

Copy a link into memory with the right button menu 'Copy Link Location'
Now attempt to open a link that is part of an image map with the middle click
button.

Result:
It attempts to load the link in memory into the current browser window.

Expected Action:
Open the link that I am hovering over into a new browser window.

Notes:
This seems to only effect image maps. Individual images and text links behave in
the proper manner. I first discovered it at the link above but I confirmed that
it happens on other image maps.

Confirmed on 2000100408 and 2000100508 M18 builds.
This makes it impossible to open image map links in a new window unless there's
nothing in the X clipboard (which essentially never happens).
