Firefox 3.6 does not reload the most recently opened tabs when it is
reopened after it crashes. Neither version 3.6 nor 3.61 properly recall
the most recently opened browser tabs, when it is reopened following a
browser crash. Instead it recalls tabs that were open several iterations
from an earlier history of open tabs. Most earlier versions of Firefox
were very effective and accurate at reopening the last set of browser
tabs that were open prior to the browser crash.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.already have a number of open tabs in browser
2.open (add) new tabs in browser
3.close some old tabs in browser
4.browser crashes
5.reopen browser and previously closed tabs are reopened and newly opened tabs (prior to crash) are not found
Actual Results:  
5.reopen browser and previously closed tabs are reopened and newly opened tabs (prior to crash) are not found

Expected Results:  
in earlier versions of Firefox the last set of open tabs is what opened when the browser was reopened following a browser crash. The browser should also not be reopening previously closed tabs...

Have you modified the interval at which sessions are saved (you can check this in about:config and look at the value of browser.sessionstore.interval)? This would lead to data not being current following a crash.

You might also have an extension that is interfering.

Resolving WORKSFORME.  I cannot reproduce this with the latest Minefield build.  Reporter, if this is still an issue for you, can you please try reproduce this with a new profile on Minefield:
