User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 This is probably the stupidest / most worthless bug to be reported on these pages, but when a new update is found after clicking "Help -> Check for updates" within firefox the download speed indicator starts timing the download speed. Thus if you wait 30 minutes before downloading the update the download speed indicator won't ever reach above 2Kb per second due to so much time having passed before the download started. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load firefox 2. Check for updates and wait 30 minutes 3. Start update download. Actual Results: Download speed doesn't go above 2Kb per second even if you are downloading at 150Kb per second. Expected Results: The update downloader should have reported the actual download speed. It isn't hard to work out. download speed = data now - data 1 second ago. It should have started counting / timing the download from the moment the "update firefox" button is pressed not from when the update window is loaded.
