Sometimes, an dummy empty messages still appears in the junk folder after removing all messages of this folder.

Event if I delete this dummy empty message, it reappears the next time I open again Thunderbird.

I noticed that compacting all the folders is the only way to remove it.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Jerome can you try to figure out what cause that message to appear in the first place ?

For instance does it happen if you run Thunderbird in safe-mode ?
It is hard to use Thunderbird with limited features into my production environment.

Maybe there is a specific user preference which could infer this bug : I want Thunderbird to compact my folders when it saves 4096 kB.

There is another specific use case : I receive ~70 to 300 junk messages per day.
Duplicate of bug 325001/bug 401967 -> MailNews Core bug 209501?
Thanks Zug, I think it is the same bug although it occurs into my Junk folder.
