User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 Build Identifier: Eudora-8.0b9.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2 The import wizard has only the option to import from Netscape Communicator - which would be a good trick on a linux machine without this software. I would like to be able to import my mail files from Eudora-7.1.0.9 (windows version) into this software Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tools 2.Import 3.Mail only Actual Results: No option to proceed Expected Results: To be able to import from Eudora-7 - it would seem logical after all...
Eudora 8.0b9 definitely has the ability to import from Eudora 7 so I have no idea why you are not seeing the option. You might try re-installing Eudora 8. I'm closing this bug as the ability to import is definitely there.

I don't think that this should be closed as yet. Note that I am using eudora-8.0b9 for linux and (on the same machine) eudora-7 for windows. eudora-8 is on one partion of the hd and eudora-8 is on the other. As far as I can see, eudora-8.0b9 for linux does not have the ability to import from eudora-7 for windows even if both partitions are mounted. If there were a manual option, I could point eudora-8.8b9 to the eudora -7 mailboxes, but there does not seem to be a manual option?
