Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.0.3 installed on 3-28-10
I love Thunderbird and have been using it for a few years now. Today I upgraded to 3.0.3 and now when I get new messages, the little "Orange Star" that used to pop up next to email folder in which I received a message for... doesn't appear.
The "Orange Star" indicating that I have received a new message does appear near the very top folder for my inbox, but it no longer appears near the folder of the contact who sent me the message.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Send message to self
2.Download new message
3.No new recevied message "star" next to folder that new message was received in
Expected Results:
There should be an orange star next to the folder which the new message was received into. However, the star only appears at the very top level of the folders and none at the sorted folder level like it use to.
This is very frustrating and will make it difficult to know when new messages have been received.
Is this a bug or a change in operation.
Please respond back ASAP.

What version of Thunderbird did you upgrade from -- 2.x, I assume?
Note that folders with new messages in them will appear with a blue font color.
This is known to be somewhat less than perfect; unfortunately, I can't find the bug number right now.
