Bug 428299 made the location bar and search bar transparent when using glass and the fields turn white on hover.  

Here is a complete list (to my knowledge) of other fields that don't have the transparency but probably should:

1) download manager's search field
2) error console's search field
3) options window -> applications tab's search field
4) options window -> General, homepage field
5) options window -> Advanced, Encryption, View Certificate's search field
6) options window -> Security, 'Exceptions' search field
7) options window -> Security, 'Saved Passwords' search field
8) options window -> Content, both 'Exceptions' search fields
9) Cookie manager's search field
10) Add-on manager, Get Add-ons tab's search field
11) Library's search field

At least the fields that have either 'Search' before the text fields and/or have a search icon the text field should have the transparency.
