I don't want to have my writing contect added to the main page (center-left)-(I don't like being in the limelight). I would just like my name/blog reference added to the sidebar on the right.

We can't actually do that, I'm afraid.  If you still want to be included in the full Planet feed, we'll need a 3-4 sentence bio that explains who you are and how you're involved with the Mozilla project.

Hi Deb, 

That's fine--I don't mind being included in the full Planet feed. One question is how does Planet determined who will be listed in the full write up section--is this randomized or voluntary contribution? 

Bio: 
Sara works at Mozilla Foundation as a Fundraiser and Project Coordinator for its open source initiatives. She's particularly interested in developing social networks in communities across the globe. She received her bachelor degree in International Relations and Visual Arts from Brown University and a masters degree in Economic Development and International Affairs from Columbia University. The random bits: she is Hawaiian, enjoys running and strumming an ill-tuned ukulele.

Planet pulls your latest post when it's posted (well, several minutes after).  It's completely automated and non-discriminatory.  You post, it appears.  When enough people post after you, it gets pushed off.

If you only want certain posts to appear you can create categories on your blog, and have us only syndicate a particular category (for example if you have non-mozilla posts you'd rather not share).  You're choice, just let us know.
