Once HttpFox stops monitoring traffic, the information is displayed. Reproducible: Always
Summary: HttpFox stop the display of 'Show Information' in the Update Addons Window → HttpFox stops the display of 'Show Information' in the Update Addons Window
I think this is invalid bug here, because it is not a Firefox issue. I've submitted it at http://code.google.com/p/httpfox/issues/detail?id=77
Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install HttpFox, and an old version of any addon (For example, to install an old version of ABP. Navigate to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/1865, and install any version except for the first one, which is the current version). 2. Tools >> HttpFox >> Toggle HttpFox 3. Click the green triangle 'Start' (to start monitoring http traffic). 4. You may close the HttpFox window if you wish. 5. Tools >> Addons 6. Click the Extensions Tab. 7. Click 'Find Updates'. 8. Click the Updates Tab. The latest version of the old version addon will appear in the Updates Tab. 9. Click 'Show Information'. What is the expected output?: I expect to see information about this update. What do you see instead?: A throbber What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? It written in this report above: x86 -- Windows XP -- Firefox 3.6.2
The developer of that add-on accepted this issue http://code.google.com/p/httpfox/issues/detail?id=77#c1 Thus, this is not Firefox Extension Compatibility fault -> I think this is INVALID bug
Version: unspecified → 3.6 Branch
Legacy extensions are no longer valid in Firefox 57, closing.
