Would be glad to get some feedback on this.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Bug 540566 has a similar sound. It is fixed but I guess not in 3.6.2? You can try nightly build of Firefox 3.6.3pre to see if it fixes you.

Does this crash on Windows for you, John? I'm unable to reproduce on Mac. The reporter claims it doesn't crash in a VM for him.

The site referenced here does not crash for me with FF 3.6.3pre Firebug 1.6a9pre, WinXP. Different machine, but I still believe that this is a duplicate of bug 540566.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3pre) Gecko/20100401 Namoroka/3.6.3pre
Dennis please try a nightly build of FF 3.6.3, and if it works for you close this bug by marking it as a duplicate.
philip: john doesn't need can confirm, his bugs are typically duplicates, so it's a waste of time.

Hello John, hello everyone who has been so busy on commenting,
I have updated my Firefox to 3.6.3, but still can reproduce this crash. Since this seems to be a duplicate of 538698, I will also publish the following information within the 538698.
The crash report for the most recent crash with Firefox 3.6.3 can be found here:

Thanks for everybody investing time into Firefox. It's definitely a great browser.
Regards,
Dennis
