User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 When visiting pages that use Silverlight, they claim the Silverlight plug-in is not installed. I have Silverlight 3.0.5 installed and it's working properly on IE, Firefox with Coral IE Tab and Opera. It was working nicely on Firefox as well until recently. After reinstalling Silverlight, pages using Silverlight work again on Firefox until the next time I boot my computer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure you have Silverlight installed and that it works with IE, Opera, etc. 2. Visit any page with Silverlight content. e.g. http://www.bubblemark.com/wpfe.htm using Firefox. 3. Notice that Silverlight content is not shown and you are prompted to download Silverlight. 4. Uninstall Silverlight and reinstall it again. 5. Visit any page with Silverlight content using Firefox. It will work. 6. Log-off/Restart your computer. 7. Visit any page with Silverlight content using Firefox. It will NOT work. Actual Results: Web sites using Silverlight say it's not installed when visiting them with Firefox. They work fine with other browsers. Expected Results: Web sites using Silverlight should work properly when visiting them with Firefox. Users might think Firefox is broken and use another browser instead. Using: Silverlight 3.0.5 Firefox 3.6.2 Windows XP SP3
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3pre) Gecko/20100329 Namoroka/3.6.3pre Silverlight Version: 3.0.50106.0 plays fine here on http://www.bubblemark.com/wpfe.htm Also WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.3a4pre) Gecko/20100331 Minefield/3.7a4pre

Hi Carlos, I am not aware of a SL 3.0.5. Can you share out the actual build number from the Silverlight configuration dialog? Thanks Sunil
(In reply to comment #4) Hi. My current Silverlight version is: 4.0.50524.0. Thinks worked OK for a while, then, SL stopped working on all my installed browsers and had to re-install it. I had a hunch/wild guess: Perhaps my SL malfunction has to do with a pack of portable plug-ins I downloaded for some portable browsers. It comes in an installer called Plugins_Portable_Flash_10.1.53.64.paf.exe. I downloaded it from http://portableappz.blogspot.com/
