Hi Steven. We've maxed out our responses to the 3.0.19 survey and would like to remove the "No thanks, let me tell you why" button from that page. Is this something you can do today? Pascal, we'd also like to remove it from the localized versions. Doesn't have to be today necessarily, but should be fairly soon. What's the best way to make that happen? I can file locale-specific bugs if you want.
no need of bugs for locales, I implemented a switch in the code that will turn them off.
Surveys deactivated in r65267
stage in r65268, production in r65269 Locales done
The whatsnew page is the one we should focus on here. We can remove the "No thanks" button from the firstrun pages too, but that change is as critical for today.
Summary: remove survey button from 3.0.19 first run page → remove survey button from 3.0.19 whatsnew and firstrun pages
firstrun is just a redirect to whatsnew for this specific release
This was pushed out.
