Every time I turn the browser on it comes up with the page apologising for not being able to restore my sessions. I haven't tried to store any settings. The popup is just a nuisance. Can it be removed?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open firefox
2. become irritated by annoying popup
3. use Internet explorer instead.
(Actually, I prefer Firefox so I don't open I.E.)
Actual Results:
Actually, I just pull down the google search engine.

Expected Results:
It's just annoying.

opened my homepage.
The most common reason was that there was a crash in one of tabs, when you tried to close. You think that it has stopped normally, but Firefox thinks that you restarting, and you want to restore your tabs. Press the 'Start new session' button' to ignore the old tabs (or try removing the culprit).

It's also possible that there's a problem with the file used to restore the tabs. Try deleting the sessionstore.js file in your profile (maybe it's write-protected ?), when Firefox is closed.
Firefox 3.6 doesn't have any popups about your session. When we recover from a crash we should a page that you can use to restore your session, but there are no dialogs.

If you are seeing a dialog, it is caused by an extension, perhaps Tab Mix Plus or Session Manager. Can you see if you have something like that installed?
