However, it took a second for the message window to dissapear, long enough for me to instinctively hit the message window's go-away box before it dissapeared on its own. 0 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgDBFolder::NotifyBoolPropertyChanged mailnews/base/util/nsMsgDBFolder.cpp:4875 1 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgDBFolder::SetHasNewMessages mailnews/base/util/nsMsgDBFolder.cpp:541 2 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgDBFolder::CheckWithNewMessagesStatus mailnews/base/util/nsMsgDBFolder.cpp:1055 3 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgDBFolder::OnHdrDeleted mailnews/base/util/nsMsgDBFolder.cpp:1070 4 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgDatabase::NotifyHdrDeletedAll mailnews/db/msgdb/src/nsMsgDatabase.cpp:724 5 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgDatabase::DeleteHeader mailnews/db/msgdb/src/nsMsgDatabase.cpp:1807 6 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgLocalMailFolder::DeleteMessage mailnews/local/src/nsLocalMailFolder.cpp:2265 7 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgLocalMailFolder::DeleteMessages mailnews/local/src/nsLocalMailFolder.cpp:1504 8 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgLocalMailFolder::EndMove mailnews/local/src/nsLocalMailFolder.cpp:2855 9 Thunderbird.EXE nsCopyMessageStreamListener::EndCopy mailnews/base/src/nsCopyMessageStreamListener.cpp:179 10 Thunderbird.EXE nsCopyMessageStreamListener::OnStopRequest mailnews/base/src/nsCopyMessageStreamListener.cpp:190 11 Thunderbird.EXE nsMsgProtocol::OnStopRequest mailnews/base/util/nsMsgProtocol.cpp:401 12 Thunderbird.EXE nsMailboxProtocol::OnStopRequest mailnews/local/src/nsMailboxProtocol.cpp:380 13 Thunderbird.EXE nsInputStreamPump::OnStateStop netwerk/base/src/nsInputStreamPump.cpp:576 14 Thunderbird.EXE nsInputStreamPump::OnInputStreamReady netwerk/base/src/nsInputStreamPump.cpp:401 bp-d2990a4a-e7ba-4e47-b3a3-731372100403 (horst) bp-d2e74076-f9bc-4422-88dd-1d8a02100402 no extensions bp-3b76304d-9907-4f64-bb3c-4d7172091222 (xicominero)
Wayne can you try to figure out when these started happening ? might be a regression introduced by bienvenu delete fixes ....
the relevant code doesn't have seem to have changed in a long time, so if it's a regression, it's probably a couple years old...that being said, the crash site looks very strange, as if the observer array was horked somehow.
my findings jive with bienvenu - going back to jan 2009, the earliest crashes are 3.0b3 dated 20090715 bp-76742a12-2620-40a3-a940-324982091007 Mac bp-e6f72f1e-a41f-48c3-a06e-f7f692090909 windows the most common comments are, deleting or opening a message. 2 more reporters pmed: bp-3e6dc0f1-0f86-47d2-b05c-c1e5f2100131 (marco) bp-eb6f329c-5ce5-458e-a44c-7bb762100405 (deshayes)
Crash Signature: [@ nsMsgDBFolder::NotifyBoolPropertyChanged(nsIAtom*, int, int)]
95% of crsahes in the past 4 months are version 3.x the lone exception is bp-a6aefbc1-3d95-4fda-a1cf-bc6832111005 version 6.0.2. it's stack doesn't resemble anything for version 3.x or this bug report. So this is WFM
