When I gave a file link to Firefox wanting to save it, it didn't have a Save File As radio button. I know there is a option to choose where to save, but, for default I want it to save in my downloads directory.

Reproducible: Always
So, what I'm understanding is this, you want to be able to change the filename of a download? To do that, just go into Tools>Options>then set to always ask where to save, then, just try to download it, and change the filename.
I just said that I knew about that, but that is a waste of time constantly going back and forth through the menu, that's why I wanted a option for it in the download dialog box.
