User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100315 Firefox/3.5.9
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100315 Firefox/3.6

There appears to be a problem with JAVA (current version) in Firefox 3.6 on Mac OS X, which will not allow an Oracle applications window to open. It tries to load but can not finish and says "Done". Re-installing Firefox 3.5.x takes care of the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to NBS system
2. Choose reconcile or sign-off
3.
Actual Results:
Reconciliation/sign-off page will not load (Oracle application).

Expected Results:
A new window should open running the Oracle application.

Try with the current version of Firefox (3.6.3), to see if this makes
any difference.

Also try Safari.

You haven't provided us with a publicly accessible way to reproduce
this bug, so there won't be much we can do about it if FF 3.6.3
doesn't "fix" it.

Closing old bugs in the Plugins component. We aren't going to track issues in 3rd-party plugins in the Mozilla bug tracker. In addition, support for NPAPI plugins will be removed at the end of this year; for more details see the post at https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/

If there is a serious bug in Firefox, it needs to be filed in the "Core" product, "Plug-Ins" component.
