Two (1 very important) javascript switch boxes are missing from the juno webmail COMPOSE page when under Firefox. This does not happen under IE. I have 2 .jpg files to illustrate the exact problem but you don't provide for attachments.
First one allows switching from writing "PLAIN TEXT" TO "HTML" and will alternately say "SWITCH TO HTML" AND "SWITCH TO PLAIN TEXT". The second is just a "WHAT'S THIS" to explain what the other switch is for.
Properties (under IE):
- Switch To Rich/Plain text - Address (URL) javascript:SubmitRequest('toggleEditorMode');
- What's this - Address (URL) javascript:top.gotoHelp('53');
Latest Firefox and Java installed: Using Firefox heavy for six months. On and off for 1 year before that. Problem may have always been there, but I noticed it a couple of months ago, and just found out that the problem does not exist under IE (so I have been using IE). Rich text was not, but is now important to me.
My screen shots illustrate problem and includes "Properties". If you want to see them, tell me how do I send them to you.
Thanks,
Bill
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Under IE log onto Juno webmail and click "COMPOSE"
2.Next line after "Copy message to sent folder" notice ">>Switch to Rich/Plain Text what's this?"
3.Under Firefox, do the same as 1. above. Notice, no clickable items in same area.
Actual Results:
The particular option switches exist under IE but not Firefox.
Expected Results:
The particular option switches should exist under both IE and Firefox.
I am stuck in the plain text mode under Firefox.
Also note that I am using a different (the original) formatted screens for webmail. Juno is pushing a new one. This is optional. However, the same problem exists on either the new or old format of the screen.

Split screen of results under IE (Top) and Firefox (bottom).
I have another screen shot showing properties of switches under IE. I will try to send it separately.

Supplies info about the properties of each (2) switch as displayed by right clicking, switch, then clicking "properties" under IE.

I also tried disabling any ad-on (extensions and plug-ins) that included the word Java (3 extensions and 1 plug-in) and I also tried disabling ad-block plus. Then restarting Firefox before checking it's affect on the problem.
All extensions and add on are up to date.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Here is what I have done in response to the question; Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe

My response:
Yes, I have the same problem with the most recent non – Beta release of Firefox 3.6.13 running in “SAFE MODE” and non – “SAFE MODE”. I also installed Firefox 4 Beta on 12/31/2010 and have the same problems in both SAFE and NORMAL MODES. IE still works fine.
I do not understand what you want me to do with the "Managing+Profile" link. I only have 1 profile.

What I was wanting was if you could create a new profile and test in it.

Got ya! I created a new profile and noticed all my settings were default. Had to access juno and sign in manually. Went to COMPOSE and problem is the same.
I want to add something that may or may not be related. On the split screen shot I originally sent, notice the line just under the switch button labeled "ATTACH", that spans most of the width of the page. Under IE the line is a good 1/4 inch below the button, where under Firefox the line is almost, if not, touching the "ATTACH" button. That still exists.

It looks like they are intentionally not offering the rich editor to Firefox. Have you talked to Juno support about this?
Reporter -> Are you still experiencing this issue with the latest version of Firefox 5? Does the issue occur with the latest nightly? http://nightly.mozilla.org/
