All versions before Thunderbird 3.0 have the ability to show in the folder list
columns for "Unread", "Total", and "Size" information. These columns are selective
activatable by a button menu in the table head with a special button. This button
no longer exists too. May be this is because there can be "virtual" folder views.
But for the normal account oriented view this I want back.
The Unread and Total information is in the state bar of the application. But
the Size of the folder is not available. Under Netscape (and may be the older
Thunderbird versions) there was a register page in the folder preferences (by
context menu) for the size and location of the folder file(s). This I've not
more in the actual Thunderbird 3.0.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Thunderbird 3.0 to 3.0.4
2. Choose account oriented view for the folder list by one or more presses on
   the left or right angle button in the table head.
3. The "choose columns button" is here not shown!
4. Each folder entry has no Total nor Size information column.
   Only the Unread information may be shown enclosed in ( ).
5. Select any folder. The Unread and Total information is shown in the state
   bar of the application, but not the Size.
6. Open the context menu for the folder. No register page for the folder
   information is available, or the Size and Location information is left.
(7. Close/cancel all at the end.)
Actual Results:  
I got not the expected information.

Expected Results:  
1. Shows the "choose columns" button in the table head of the folder list
2. Choose and show the selected columns for Unread, Total and Size information
3. Shows the Size and Location of the folder file(s) in a register page on the
   property dialog.

The most of the functionality is described on Your online help (version 2.0) and
in the FAQ:

The solution could be a hack with "user_pref("mail.showFolderPaneColumns", true);"
