I've been noticing problems getting pages to load now and then. Here's a
reproducible scenario (at least on my macine running Win98 and Seamonkey build
2000100408).
1. Start up mail.
2. Close all browser windows.
3. Click on a link in a mail message (e.g., Bugzilla bug links exhibit the problem).
4. A Navigator window opens but the page does not load.
5. Click on the link again; this time the page loads OK.
It looks like some kind of timing thing where the load fails if the window to be
loaded in is opening. I'm picking XPToolkit for component because I suspect
it's not a Mail thing.
Sounds scary, but I can't reproduce it. I tried it with a bugzilla bug #, and
with more complex pages abcnews.com and a big ol' table, and a couple of fast
pages like yahoo and a couple of my local drive. No problems. (Though with one
large page, the browser window did show up blank for a couple of seconds, as if
it was thinking about not working.) Using a trunk build from today, on Windows
and a couple on Linux and Mac.
Sorry, Bill. I know you're seeing something, but I can't see it from here.

Yes, it must be the personal vendetta Netscape6 is waging against me. The only
thing that doesn't work for me is clicking on a Bugzilla bug link in a message
from bugzilla-daemon. I get a blank browser window and see this on the console:
Error loading URL http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55840: 804b0002
Error loading URL http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55840: 804b0002

Sorry, I only got one message like that on the console. I pasted that 4 times
into the Additional Comments area but Netscape6 failed to actually display any
of them. Just further proof of that conspiracy.
Anyway, looks like a networking thing. I'm on Win98, BTW (I theorize that that
has something to do with it; I see lots of networking glitches).
