558504 - Phone lady says to leave a message and then hangs up

Calling the main Mozilla number (650-215-1282) gets the lecture about dialing my party's extension and such, and then finishes up the spiel with "or stay on the line to leave a message in our general mailbox.  Thank you.  Good bye." and then hangs up.

Expected results:  forwarding to a general mailbox

Fixed.  A recent upgrade to Thirdlane apparently changed the behavior it was expecting from asterisk when it reached the end of a dialplan script.  It used to explicitly continue to wait for digits after playing the audio, and now it just ends the script after playing the audio, depending on asterisk to fire a timeout event.  Only problem is our asterisk wasn't configured to actually generate that timeout event.

The fix was to add

autofallthrough=no

to the [general] section of extensions.conf

It was probably a relief for whoever the poor person is that has to monitor the general mailbox :)
