This test unnecessarily opened a new window, so it was testing much more code than it wanted to.  I fixed that today:

This obviously doesn't fix the crash bug in Firefox, but I'm sure the crash will turn up elsewhere, and it will be easier to diagnose once bug 554138 is fixed.
