Hi,

Do you guys have access to figure out how many people subscribe to the dev.app.firefox newsgroup/mailing list?

It's for an internal-only, informal presentation, so precision isn't super important as long as the order of magnitude is close. :)

I know it's an open list and can be read via NNTP and other means, and I found that it has 965 subscribers via the Google Groups interface (which may be an approximation, or the actual count of GG-only subscribers)

If you have more precise data or estimations, I'd appreciate it. If not, no big deal. :)

I think IT needs to evaluate this request first.  The data source isn't something we are familiar with or currently have access to.

Note the number in comment #5 is just that of those subscribed to the mailing list. There's three different ways to be "subscribed" to this newsgroup: the mailing list, the newsgroup, and Google Groups. So, keep that in mind...

If you read comment #0, you'd know he's already quite aware of that before he made the request. While we're not all geniuses like you Reed, we do sometimes use what little brains we have.
