When I go back in history one page or several pages, the page occasionally doesn't load. In Firefox 3.5.9, the tab title and the URL of the page I am going back to are displayed correctly, but the tab favicon shows that the page is loading and the content of the page I am moving back from is still displayed. When I click the Stop button, the page suddenly appears. In Firefox 3.7.x, the tab title and the URL of the page I am going back to are displayed correctly, but the tab favicon and the content of the page I am moving back from are still displayed. When I click the Reload button (the Stop button is unavailable at this time), the page suddenly appears. I have reproduced the problem with a new profile.
I seem to have this issue with the back button when I am on some of the pages of games.com. After I click "back" the drop-down list, when you right-click the back button, shows that I am on the previous page, but it never seems to load.
I haven't seen this problem with Firefox 3.6 for several months. In situations where I used to see a problem, sometimes the page I go back to reloads several times, about once a second for several seconds. Perhaps some code was added that sometimes overcompensates for the problem of the page not loading.
