That's a few times now that I include Sunbird (installer) diffs in some of my patches and Standard8 writes that it's unsupported on trunk. It would "help" to just delete the Sunbird-only files, then...

Suggesting to resolve as wontfix. Sunbird builds from comm-central/mozilla-1.9.2 works fine for me. There is a huge difference between not doing another public Sunbird release and breaking Sunbird on purpose. I hope the calendar team doesn't decide to do it.

Voting WONTFIX. Although there is no active development for Sunbird-specific code and features from the Calendar team and no builds are generated, people can contribute code and build it themselves.
I think removing the files would be counter-productive and make it harder for a new maintainer to get started. This might also lead to us (accidentally) mixing Lighting specific code and calendar base code, which I'd like to avoid. Sunbird is unsupported and the calendar team shouldn't spend time reviewing sunbird patches, but maybe we can talk about an auto-r+ for build system patches. We should solve bug 549286 first.
