When printing multiple files to pdf, the 'save' dialog does not remember the path to the last used folder (target folder) correctly if that folder is more than 2 levels deep.

For the STR below, the target folder is ~/Documents/project/images

STR:
1. print a file to pdf, saved in the target folder;
   in the save dialog that appears,
   access the folder by first clicking on 'Documents' in the sidebar,
   then navigate thorough the columns to access the folder.
   (set the save dialog box to column view if it isn't)
2. try to save-to-pdf a second document to the same location

AR: the selected folder in the save dialog is 'Documents', not the target
folder (as seen in the drop down menu at the top of the save dialog).
ER: the target folder is selected.

This works fine if the target folder is '~/Documents/project/' (one level deep).

This only seems to happen in column view. List view and icon view work
correctly.
10.5 is not affected.
