Gary suggests adding -norunpath -R '$ORIGIN:/usr/lib/mps' when linking and explains what they do in the google groups message:

Not sure if we want to repackage a new binary or just wait for js ctypes bug 513798.
At this stage, we'll wait for ctypes, IMO.
