For instance, on 10.6 we currently don't have symbols and unless we explicitely (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=439247&action=edit) tell the UnitestPackagedFactory not to download the symbols it will try to download it. The factory should be smart enough to determine what to and what not to download. This will remove one small dependency for each new platform we added.
To get this working, the sendchanges from builds should include both the build's url and symbol's url when there are symbols.
This was fixed in bug 550383.
