559952 - Complex Sinhala script does not render correctly

Have Iskoola Pota installed as default font for Sinhala. Also have it set as the display font for Sinhala under "Tools, Option, Content, Fonts and Colors."

The problem seems to be with the Gecko rendering engine. Sinhala does not render correctly using the Gecko engine in the Lunascape 6.0.3 browser. Sinhala does render correctly using the Webkit engine in Lunascape, but then there are rendering problems with complex scripts for other languages.

I cannot read Sinhala or any Indic scripts, so have not run any further tests.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
