In Mac OS X 10.5 and later, the concept of Stacks was added to the operating system. By default, a Stack entitled "Downloads" is placed in the Dock. When Safari downloads a file to this Stack, it will bounce once on download completion (to notify the user).

Would it be possible, if the user (using Firefox) downloads a file to a Stack in the Dock, to similarly bounce the target stack on completion of the download?

Reproducible: Always

Just to make it clear, this has been resolved in bug 402520 and the functionality will be present in the next major release of Firefox :-)
