It would be nice if there was a key binding for "move to adress bar". I use almost exclusively the keyboard and having to type an address is one of the very few cases I lift my fingers to click on the address bar.

Reproducible: Always
Please carefully read http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Keyboard+shortcuts you will find the shortcut you are looking for.

Thanks for the immediate reply; perhaps I'm searching for the wrong keywords but neither the shortcuts than mention "address" nor "move" are what I'm looking for.

In case you mean the "Open Address in New Tab", I want to move to the address bar of the current tab, not open a new one.
Ctrl-L moves the focus to the locationbar, Alt-D and F6 also work. It's also mentioned in the file menu (Ctrl-L for open location).

Oh, it's called location bar, not address bar. Thank you both and sorry for the noise.
