User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Program: TB 3.0.4., latest version. Suddenly I can no longer get email from my Google IMAP mail server. Instead I get a "Failure" message, "Account exceeded bandwidth limit. (Failure). However the Google webmail site works fine. The ISP has no known problems and all other internet access, uploads downloads occur at the contract speeds. Also I notice continuous activity indicator never comes off. Message directory is large. Until last night this problem did not exist. However, there are many instances where TB refuses to save sent message in the "Sent" folder. Applying the fix as shown on internet site (forget which) does not fix that problem either. But, at least I could download and work with messages without having to go to the Google webmail site. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on the get message button. Happens every time 2. 3. Actual Results: Can no longer download incoming messages. Expected Results: n/a n/a

The fact that the error message originates from Google does in no way mean the problem is at Google. I checked with Google and it looks as if the problem is somehow related to the latest version of TB. There are several reports of the same problem from other TB 304 users. Also, there is the problem of TB reporting difficulty with saving sent messages, despite my having implemented the fix published by TB/Mozilla (don't recall which). Furthermore, TB seems to generate continuous download activity. All of which points to a glitch in TB 304. So, we are having a problem with TB on IMAP with Google mail. Please be more diligent and check this one out yourself. TB 3.0.4 seems a bit flaky, and terse replies without specific explanations are not the way for a top notch product like TB.
The "sent" issue is a complete different one and doesn't belong into this bug, This bug is about the error message and that is coming from google -> invalid And then we have bug 537498 If you have ways to reproduce an endless download you should write a new bug with all informations.
