personal labs blogs: subdomain and basic template

We could use a people.mozillalabs.com subdomain for personal blogs, with a simple template in the current WP infrastructure. I think this involves:
- 301 redirect for the subdomain to somewhere in the current WP setup
- new skin based on current Labs WP skin, but with irrelevant bells and whistles removed
- some link love from somewhere on the Labs web site
(Bug 550281 is more ambitious, for snazzier UI when WP3 is available.)
Thanks,
Dave

Any reason why you all can't just use blog.mozilla.com like everybody else?

I think using blog.mozilla.com is the best solution here - we can link to everyone's blog no matter where it is hosted, no need to create a specific hosting solution on our backend.
That said, I can make a WP theme that is Labs specific to use on a personal WP install if interested.

After discussing this with Sean - let's go with blog.mozilla.com and we'll link to the blog from mozillalabs.com (plus add the RSS feed to the Labs Mini-Planet).

That's fine with me. Can you point me to info on how to get a blog.mozilla.com blog?
Thanks,
Dave
