Howdy,

I'm viewing my email at grgoffe@yahoo.com and I'm finding that when I hilight text within the email-reading area of the screen and then subsequently try to paste it into another text area of a different tab (opened to yahoo.com), the pasted data is incorrect. If I paste this into an xterm window, the selected text appears.

When I perform a select and then ctrl-c ala Windows, the paste works correctly.

This may be a yahoo problem but Firefox is an x11 compliant x11 application, right? Anyway, the cut/paste works correctly between two tabs when pointing to my gmail.com account.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open email account and read an email
2.select text
3.navigate to another tab
4.use the middle button to paste
Actual Results:
Incorrect data is pasted into the second tab.
I just checked the same actions with Seamonkey and it did work properly.
