User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) When I am on a site such as Ebay, I select a search category, then I select a product from the results, when the product is displayed the screen resolution drops to low resolution. I believe this started after I loaded a Java update.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go on Site 2.Click o something 3.Select something. Actual Results: Resolution drops. Expected Results: Resolution to remain the same. I found a bug report that had the same issue. #542407. I started to follow the steps, but then the person who entered the trouble didn't want to work with you and the ticket was flagged as incomplete. Following the suggestions in the ticket: (1) I have removed all versions of Java and downloaded the special version of Java (2) I created the Test Profile. When I went to Ebay I had no problems.
I was still searching around and found a suggestion from cor-el on another Mozilla site. The recommendation was when on a page that is causing the problem to go to View > Zoom > Reset. This solved the problem! I don't know how this setting got changed, any comment on that would be appreciated so if it happens again I'll be ready. As this is solved... please close this ticket. Thank cor -el for me if you can.
