I'm using Google mail with IMAP with Outook at the Office and Thunderbird at home.
Outlook creates IMAP Folders and subfolders as IMAP-ROOT:/Inbox.
In Thunderbird I subscribed to Inbox. If I select a subfolder I receive a error message saying "Der aktuelle Befehl war nicht erfolgreich. Der Mail-Server antwortete:Unknown Mailbox:INBOX/Subfolder.". Now ignore the German part - It's trying to access the INBOX folder which doesn't exist. Before sending the change directory command Thunderbird should check if the folder does actually exist. Also Thunderbird shouldn't mix Inbox with INBOX.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get IMAP account somewhere (Google)
2. Create Folders INBOX and Inbox and create Subfolders in them
3. Try to access the subfolders
Actual Results:
Error Message saying: "Der aktuelle Befehl war nicht erfolgreich. Der Mail-Server antwortete:Unknown Mailbox:INBOX/Subfolder."
Expected Results:
successful folder change. Display of Messages in folders.
