Hi Sean, Following up on our chat from earlier today, can you please help design new visuals for Firefox Sync? I can think of at least two places where we need visuals (though they could both be the same). On the web page - similar to the keys you created for Account Manager. In the product - to replace the weave logo in the status bar, preferences window, add-ons manager etc. Do you think we can have something in the next few days?

ok, so if we're going to be doing this, I think this should take a bit longer than a few days. This should be a full branding exercise to come up with the visual icon for Sync. Is this something we do in-house or do we go to a shop like Iconfactory or SOFA again?
Sounds like we need to have a discussion about Sean's resources and time vs the needs and schedule of this project. Does that sound right? If the deadline is still "the next few days" that makes bringing in an outside party kind of tough, but of course Sean has a lot on his plate that we'd need to sort out. (hence the need for a discussion)
Well, its not really about my time. I can create an icons for this no problem, but I'm wondering if it shouldn't take a bit longer than a few days and have some time to go through iterations before solidifying something that is going to land in the browser? Also, whatever is done will need to be styled 4x for XP, Win7, Tango, and OSX - so it will take a good bit of time to nail all the flavors down.
My advice would still be a quick meeting so we can talk all this through...we can resolve all these questions much more quickly & efficiently on the phone/in person.
I've sent along re-skinned versions of all the graphics to Mike Connor on Friday. Closing this bug and if specific replacements are needed, please feel free to open bugs for those cases.
