This quarter we are going to be producing Windows 64 bit builds and we need to start by having a first machine to add the right tool chain to it.

Please install on this machine Windows 2008 x64 bit.

We would like to repurpose mv-moz2-linux-ix-slave25. Could we please rename it to win64-ix-ref?

This is pretty crucial. Do you think this could be done this week or at latest for next week?

NOTE: After getting this work done, we will need more machines cloned out of this. What is the best way to plan for this so it is not a surprise (I am sorry about this request) for IT?
* We are going to need more IX machines for when I need the cloning to create a pool of Windows 64 bit slaves. I will follow up with joduinn to be sure to include this into his new IX machines' request.
OS: Mac OS X → Windows Server 2008
jlaz should be able to help with this while Phong's in PHX.

Going to try to get this installed as soon as we can get our subscription to msdn renewed. As Shyam had mentioned earlier, phong is in phx at the moment, but will help me get our subscription re-activated
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Whiteboard: Pending renewal of MSDN subscription
Thanks Justin. Any ETA (days or weeks?) or bug for tracking the renewal?
Does this affect just me or anything else? (AFAIK just this bug)
mrz: whats the fastest way to get this license renewed and a machine imaged? This is blocking us starting win64 work.
working with our msft var already on getting this resolved.
phong is following up with Rich, one of our vendors, to renew our subscription
Any updates on this? any ETA?
AFAIK the renewal is solved.
Whiteboard: Pending renewal of MSDN subscription
Will follow up with phong and get this installed today
Good to hear :)
Thank you Justin.
ISO is currently being downloaded, ~4HR download, will most likely push installation to monday

Thanks Justin. I have been able to login to the machine and all looks good.

Justin I was looking at how we document how we generate reference images and
I found this:
> VM Created with ISO: EN_WIN2003_ENTWITHSP1_WIN2003_STANDARDWITHSP1.ISO MD5
> sum: 9f584062feca857738ac794a8bc46936 From MSDN CD: Disc 2429.4, November 2005

Do you have some info like this for this W2008 image that you installed? I would like to keep track of it for future reference. No rush, whenver you get to it.
