Then the update dialog opens at the same time as the Open File dialog, and the application locks. Force Quit does not work. Shutdown does not work. The only way I get out of the state is to unplug the computer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Composer as soon as you start Seamonkey 2.Open an HTML and make some edits 3.Attempt to open a second file wile the first file is open. 4. Watch the program lock up. Actual Results: Application locks up. If I click on any option in either of the two dialog boxes, nothing happens. Expected Results: I can click on options in the dialog boxes and keep working.
A freeze of the OS would be a bug in the OS, always ! But there is the known bug 476541 on OS X with a sheet and dialog that sound like a dupe. DO you think it's ok to mark it as dupe ?
Please test on SeaMonkey 2.x, reports on 1.x are not taken any more. As long as it can't be reproduced on a supported version (2.0.x or higher right now), this is INCOMPLETE.
