Syncing some days of history doesn't make sense as places doesn't track X days

Not entirely sure what this means.. ? I believe the visits are synced to help recalculate frecencies, and I think there's a fixed cap of 10 visits being synced, so it's not totally right anyway.

Oh sorry, I misread. This is in the context of fx-setup where we somehow pick a number to show how many days of history will be wiped?

I think this is INVALID. We don't sync by number of days, we only use that to demonstrate the amount of history that will be lost.
