Given:

    font-family: "DejaVu Sans";

}

    font-family: "DejaVu Sans";

    font-style: italic, oblique;
}

the second definition was used also for "font-style:normal".

Your font-style descriptor is incorrect, it can only take one value: either 'italic' or 'oblique' but not both. It is thus ignored.
