The Messages after archival go to many folders, This is very nice feature. Keeps the file sizes small...
It would help to automatically create a option for original folder to make the archived messages and the current messages in that folder appear in the list at the same time, something like Smart folder based on search condition- which is saved,,,

I am sure every one would like this change. Thank you for your patience.

I don't understand what you are requesting, can you be a bit more explicit ?

Steps - 1. You have many emails in Inbox. 
2. You create automatic sorting filters to sort messages about boss, bank, friend. These messages are then shifted to those folders.
3. You create archive strategy to create one folder par year/month - run the archive command this will create boss,bank and friend folder for each year/month combination.... e.g. 2009/01 , 2009/02 ... 2010/01, 2010/02
4. Now all the mails set related to boss are scattered in folder named boss in each of those dated folders.
There is no easy way to see all boss related messages as in step 2....

So I suggest we can store all these messages as you are doing in step 3... but create a virtual index/view on the original folder Boss to show all the messages in the original folder+ all the archived folders/boss messages.

If I understand correctly, this pertains to the "Yearly archived folders" or "Monthly archived folders" under "Archive Options" in the account settings.

I believe the request is that the parent message folder represent a combined view of all the by-year or by-month archive folders, by default, when one of those archive options is enabled.

I've wished for this, too, but the truth is you can already accomplish this with the existing "saved search" functionality. The downside is you have to remember to add one more folder to the saved search every month or year.
