Yes,I use Pdfs every day...so I've tried using a fresh profile and the problem still persists
Reporter, please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also update your plugins (flash, adobe reader, java, quicktime, silverlight, etc.) Go to the developer's website and download the latest version from there. I've tested Firefox 3.6.12 and Firefox 4 nightly under Windows Xp and the problem still occurs. As soon as possible I'll test if the issue is present running Firefox under Linux. I'm attaching a simple html page that triggers the problem.
