I searched for BarTab for Firefox 2 and returned no results but showing the refinement sidebar as expected. However, the version numbers were out of order and did not include version 2.

The app versions should be in the right order and I think that the version I specifically searched for should be marked in the list.

Yeah, I'll morph this bug to be the other issue.

If the user has searched for a specific version, that version should appear in the refinement list as selected. If the user goes to another version it can be dropped from the list as there aren't actually any results, but it should show up the first time to help the user understand what's going on in the refinement bar.
